#045: Looking Back & Ahead
May 20, 2013 07:42 AM PDT
We take a quick look back at the Miami series and the season as a whole with the disappointment offset by pride. Given the circumstances, the 2012/13 Bulls were incredibly entertaining and still managed to overachieve. We also dip into some offseason speculation and project next season's roster. Finally, we offer our bold (dumb?) predictions for the remainder of the playoffs. Thank you all for listening and a fun season! #044: Pride & Disappointment
May 11, 2013 10:30 AM PDT
We analyze and discuss how the Bulls fell short in game 3 despite their valiant effort. What needs to change heading into Monday's game 4? Even though the series is far from over, we also examine the Bulls chances against the Heat in the future with a full roster and try not to sulk in this year's lost opportunity. Be sure to also listen to the very end to help celebrate the show's birthday! #043: Bullieve?
May 07, 2013 06:36 AM PDT
The battered, but not broken Bulls stunned the rested, but rusty Miami Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals, and we try to make sense of it all. Listen in as we bask in the glory of arguably the greatest two game stretch in Bulls playoff history. How is this happening? We don't really know, but no hyperbole is safe. One game doesn't make a series, but does one game have us drinking the kool-aid? We also fulfill our contractual obligation to talk about Derrick Rose for 10 minutes too long. #042: Nate It Or Love It
April 30, 2013 04:25 PM PDT
Our new "Big 3" talk about the highs & lows between games four and five, and the uncertainty surrounding game 6. After a few days removed from Saturday's triple overtime thriller, listen in to see if we can provide proper (and coherent) perspective on the Bulls epic comeback. Also, is Thursday night a must win for the Bulls? Will this be our last recording during the season? Could/should the offseason feature a blockbuster deal for Kevin Love? Find out our thoughts on all this and more in episode 42 of the Bulls Show. #041: Grit & Guts
April 23, 2013 12:30 PM PDT
As the winner of our fantasy basketball league this year, our buddy Eugene is rewarded with a guest appearance on the show to discuss the Bulls bounce back win in Brooklyn, tying the first round playoff series at one game apiece. Listen in as we three-man weave our way through the gritty defensive performance by Kirk Hinrich and the guts on display by Joakim Noah. With the teams heading back to Chicago for Thursday’s game 3, has our opinion and prediction on the series changed? Is Thibs a genius or running his team into the ground? Will Joakim inspire Derrick Rose’s return? Why isn’t Eugene actually a Bulls fan? Find out the answers to all these questions here! #040: Hello Brooklyn
April 19, 2013 11:38 AM PDT
We're joined by Doug Thonus of Bulls Confidential and Ricky O'Donnell of SB Nation to preview the Bulls upcoming first round match-up versus the Nets. We discuss the health of the roster, identify the keys to winning the series, and whether the Bulls' regular season success should translate into the playoffs. Tune in as we make get ready for the best time of year and offer our postseason predictions. #039: Inconclusive Evidence
April 09, 2013 11:28 AM PDT
We attempt (and fail) to project the Bulls' playoff seed and ceiling amid the rash of injuries in this home stretch of the regular season. Which player/injury outside of Rose is most important? Is it even worth bringing Rose back just for the playoffs? We address these questions and also offer our opinions on the news and notes from the rest of the basketball world. #038: No Rose, No Noah, No Problem
March 31, 2013 11:22 PM PDT
Derrick Rose isn't back, but we are. Listen in as we reflect on the highest of highs in ending Miami's streak and the lowest of lows collapsing against Dallas. With only 10 games remaining in the Bulls schedule, we also look ahead at the home stretch of the regular season and project where the Bulls fall in the Eastern conference playoff pictures. Finally, we wrap things up with "The Fastbreak" where we talk a little Derrick, a little NCAA, and a little Ja Rule. #037: Comcast Sports Net Bulls Insider - Aggrey Sam 2.0
March 20, 2013 10:58 AM PDT
We welcome back Aggrey Sam of Comcast Sports Net for the latest insight on Derrick Rose's impending (or uncertain?) return this season. Is Thursday night's game now or never? We also get an injury report on the rest of the sidelined cavalry and predictions on when we should be seeing Kirk, Taj, and Rip back in the lineup... if at all. We do actually talk basketball at some point on the show to reflect on the controversial goal-tends and replays from Monday night's loss to Denver. #036: D-Rose, D-Rama
March 11, 2013 07:44 AM PDT
As pretty much everyone else already has, we offer our opinions on the ongoing and polarizing saga that we've trademarked as the "D-Rose D-Rama" (or "Derrick Rosercoaster"?). Should he play? Will he play? Tune in and find out what we think. We also react to the Bulls loss in Los Angeles and take a look at the week ahead. Don't forget about first ever Bulls watch party, Friday March 15th at 6 Corners Bar. Hope to see you there! #035: Pacer Problems & The Playoff Push
March 03, 2013 11:35 PM PST
Listen in as we react to the Bulls loss to the Pacers and look to the week ahead. We also discuss the Bulls' recent struggles and of course Derrick Rose's presumably impending return. We then wrap up the show with everything from nut-punching, world politics, and even hockey. Don't worry, it all makes sense... we think. #034: Heat Stroke
February 21, 2013 11:00 PM PST
We reflect on the Bulls turnover-fest in a 86-67 loss to the Heat and discuss how much Thursday's game is representative of a future playoff match-up against Miami. We also recap the Bulls idle, yet historic trade deadline in which the franchise will pay the luxury tax for the first time in its history. Finally, we hash out Reggie Rose's controversial comments about the front office's questionable roster decisions. #033: Comcast Sports Net Bulls Insider - Aggrey Sam
February 17, 2013 08:37 PM PST
Aggrey Sam of Comcast Sports joins us to shed some light on the "D-Rama" from last week's Derrick Rose news. Hear Aggrey's take on Rose's status and whether he thinks the former MVP will return this season. Aggrey also discusses any potential plans of the front office with the trade deadline approaching, the team's recent epidemic of injuries, and his expectations for the second half of the regular season. #032: Recaps, Road Trips, Rumors, & Report Cards (Part 2)
February 12, 2013 12:41 PM PST
In the second of our "back to back," class is in session with Professor Mitch & Nillz as we dish out mid-season grades to the Bulls currently in 4th place in the Eastern conference. We also preview the all-star weekend and touch on the latest NBA news & notes in the world-famous 2-man Fastbreak. #031: Recaps, Road Trips, Rumors, & Report Cards (Part 1)
February 12, 2013 11:09 AM PST
After a 2 week hiatus, Mitch & Nillz return with unexpected back to back episodes. In part 1, we reflect on the smack down laid by San Antonio's JV team and the recent 6 game road trip. Mitch then does his best GarPax impersonation and decides whether he would accept the recently rumored trades involving the Bulls. Next Page |
